For doing shoulder arthroscopy, proper position of the shoulder is critical. When you have to give lateral position to the patient for shoulder arthroscopy, the shoulder needs to be placed in abduction at a particular angle and additionally the joint also needs traction to be exerted on it. Both things can be achieved with the help of the shoulder positioner. The shoulder positioners currently available in the market are mainly imported from the west and are very costly. We have produced a model of the shoulder positioner which has many more functions than the ones currently available in the market besides being much cheaper.
